Congratulations to Matt Wieters for his first All-Star selection! Next week, he'll be playing in the Mid-summer classic in Phoenix, Arizona. He's emerged as one of the best defensive catchers in baseball, and the sport took notice.
I thought J.J. Hardy or Adam Jones would be the lone Baltimore representative, but either could make the team if players decide to pull out of the game, or in case of injury.
In Jones' case, he's one of five players who can still make the team with the AL Final Vote.
